Woooo, boy. Sorry I went MIA for a minute, you guys. I have a really good reason for it, but I can't share quite yet. Trust me, this one is worth the wait :) So, for those of you who are new around here, I'm a writer by trade, but I dare you to find one creative who hasn't "paid their dues" with a survival job of some sort. I've spent the . . .

Easy self-care. Is there such a thing? Yesterday morning, I rolled out of bed at 7:45AM, hopped onto a call for work, got right in the car to head to a blog shoot, came home, answered a million and a half emails, made two million calls, handled paperwork, did laundry, sent more emails, answered more calls, took Millie to the dog park, came home . . .
I'm so excited to share my latest find with you guys today - My Sister's Closet! I came across their boutique and fell in love with the clothes. I reached out to them because I knew I wanted to share it with you guys. I just love this polka-dotted dress. The sleeve length is modest and flattering, and the tie around the waist gives the dress . . .
Before we start talking about the cutest romper ever, I have to tell you guys about my latest obsession: the enneagram test. Have you guys taken it? What did you score? I'm going to do an entire post about this and share more resources once I've had time to really sink my teeth into it. All I can say is it's blowing my mind. For anyone . . .
Anyone else have a hard time getting going on a Monday? I took Saturday off but worked the entire day on Sunday, so today feels more like Tuesday to me. But still - Mondays are never easy! (If you need a little kick in the butt, check out my post about working SMARTER, not HARDER!) I have a very specific learning style. In order for me to truly . . .
I had one of those days where it just wasn't going to happen. I woke up early for a call that got canceled. Got on a call with a contractor who nearly 10x their prices since the last time we worked together. Went to the grocery store and left my wallet in the apartment. Honestly, the list goes on. It's ironic, considering yesterday's post about . . .
I recently fell back in love with reading. I know that sounds weird, but it's true. For an embarrassingly long time, I had little to no interest in it. Thinking about it, it's because I wrongfully associated reading with stagnation. I would see other bloggers share posts about all of the books they'd read recently and scoff. I'd think to myself, . . .
The verdict is in, and I have a new favorite trend: midi-dresses. I just think they're so elegant. It makes me feel like I'm straight out of the 1950's when showing ankle was quite a risqué move. My ankles and I tend toward rebellion - what can I say? How gorgeous is this dress from one of my all-time favorite brands, & Other . . .
I spent the weekend devouring The Third Door by Alex Banayan. Let me just tell you - the book is like eating when you're hungry or drinking when you're thirsty - you can't get enough and it's so, so satisfying (and absolutely uncomfortable in places). I'll go into it in detail as soon as I've finished, but there was one quote in particular I wanted . . .
