Today, I’m chatting best eye care products! I’m just going to say it – I’m an eye girl. I have absolutely no contouring skills and a rather unimpressive pout, but eyes? That’s where I come in.
Today, is all about eyes. I’m excited to share a few eye care/eye makeup products I’m loving right now! ‘Eye’ think we should dive in!
When I’m stressed out, the first things to go are my eyes and my scalp. I get very dark circles under my eyes and my scalp flares up like crazy. Because of this, I take special care with both. I had been in search of a good eye mask, so I reached out to VII Code. They were kind enough to send me their O2M Oxygen Eye Mask to try, in exchange for a post on Instagram. I’ve so loved the mask that I decided to include it in this post, free of charge. Have you guys ever tried an oxygen face mask? Bliss used to make a good one – you can actually feel the little oxygen bubbles on your face. It was a super similar sensation with this eye mask. I felt it working right away.
Before Eyeko, I thought subscription boxes were filled with products that weren’t selling any other way. You guys – I WAS WRONG. I was sent a Look Fantastic Beauty Box a little over a year ago. In it was this Eyeko eyeliner, and I happened to run out of my own eyeliner. In a pinch, I decided to try the Eyeko, and I’ve never looked back. Like I said – I’m willing to spend money on my eyes, so I’ve tried a bunch of different liners. Nothing has compared to this for me. It goes on SO smoothly and evenly. No clumping and not watery. It’s a gorgeous, thick formula and the applicator is so easy to use. I am an Eyeko loyalist. I can’t recommend it more.
Same thing guys – I reached out to Eyeko to tell them how much I love their eyeliner, and they sent me mascara to try. (By the way – I tell you guys these things not to brag about getting free product, but to be super transparent about the ways in which I come across new things. With all of the confusion about paid posting, gifting, and unpaid endorsements, I think it’s pretty important for bloggers to be candid about how/why they’re sharing. Eyeko sent me product to try a year ago – I’m sharing this endorsement on my own accord a year later). Their mascara is equally stellar. It’s definitely a bit pricier, but I think it’s worth it. Again, goes on easily and doesn’t clump. I have dark lashes to begin with, but I can definitely see a difference with this product. My mom allowed me to influence her here – she tried it, and this was her response:
So, don’t let me influence you. Take it from Mama B.
One of my best friends and college roommate was a makeup junkie. She and her mom loved to shop for the latest and greatest, and this is a product she introduced me to years back that is still a favorite. It’s definitely the priciest piece of makeup I have, but it lasts a while and goes on so well. It’s a cream-to-powder shadow, so it’s super smooth, and I love the shimmer. It really brightens up your eyes. These are my absolute favorites.
This was another product that was sent to me last year that I’ve recently fallen in love with. Let me tell you – I’ve used $30 concealer, and this stuff (for $5) works better. It’s a perfect matte that really brightens the dark circles under my eyes and blends so well with my skin. This is a product I’ll definitely be purchasing – I couldn’t believe the quality for the price!!
