FREE Worksheet to Increase Your Productivity! January 22, 2020
Okay – pause. Take a deep breath. You are building a business, and I know you’re working really hard at it. I know sometimes it feels like you’re moving in a million directions, so I want you to stop for a second. I want to help you find your focus and increase productivity.
Last year, I went into a deep dive as I worked to build my website and social platforms. I learned about Pinterest, and Tailwind, and email marketing, and opt-in forms, and Canva and Google Adsense, and SEO… most days, I felt like my head was spinning.

I watched a million free webinars and tried my very best to extract information I could further research on my own rather than pay for every class that interested me.
Ultimately, I’ve found that the internet can be a very loud place. Sometimes, it’s overwhelming. It’s hard to gain clarity when you’re a click away from so many different ideas and opinions (even mine!!).
That’s why I want to help you recenter. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again:
your individuality is your superpower.
It can be so tempting to try to imitate the things that are working well for other people, but in the process, you are bound to lose yourself. I spent three years as a fashion blogger. You guys – I don’t get out of my sweats most days. I have three hoodies that are begging for me to turn to the sweaters in my closet to give them a break. I’m totally fine bargain hunting at Ross, and I can’t contour to save my life.
But I admire fashion bloggers. It looked pretty and kind of fun and effortless to take pictures in my #OOTD. In reality – it’s a ton of work. I give these girls a lot of credit – it takes research, and time, and lots and lots of effort to market their go-to favorites. And if they love it, it probably makes the job a bit easier.

I didn’t love it. I do love helping people build a business and a life that excites them. That is who I am. And I spent a lot of time getting lost in the nooks and crannies of the inter webs and I forgot that. I had to take months away from my blog to finally come to this conclusion.
So today, I want you to pause. Not for months – just for an hour. Stop searching. Stop reading. Stop ingesting. I want you to take an hour and fill out my Finding Your Focus worksheet. I want you to disconnect from what everyone is telling you to be and take time to remember who you are. Why are you doing what you do? What do you love about it? And what is the gift you can share with your customers? Staying in tune with these things is the best way to increase your productivity AND efficiency.
Drop your email below, and I’ll send the worksheet right to your inbox. Your business will thank you.
